SIADCERO Project

In co-operation with the Department of Operations Research, Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Public Administration, and further research institutes from Europe, we took part in the SIADCERO project of European Union. The main goal of SIADCERO (Strategic Integrated Assessment of Dynamic Carbon Emission Reduction Policies) is to analyze the strategic interests and policy options of the EU in international negotiations on climate change. In the project, among others, dynamic-sequential models of game theory have been established. We developed an Excel add-in for the computation with the appropriate game theoretic models in SIADCERO project. The add-in enables computation with several versions of the reaction function approach, models of correlated and tree-correlated equilibrium as well as the Nash bargaining and the Kalai-Smorodinsky models.

We have prepared several case studies based on the data presented by the other participants of the project.
